NON-RETURN GAS VALVES

The non-return gas valves prevent creeping and surges while the flame-arresting valves additionally prevent fl ash backs. They are used to secure gas tapping points at which gas units or fi ring systems are operated and it is not possible to prevent the return of gas into the air/oxygen line or of air/oxygen into the gas line (inflammable mixture) by constructive means. Nonreturn gas valves thus prevent the formation of inflammable mixtures.
